The Chieftain Grain/Silage/Crop Range has been designed to achieve maximum carrying capacity for the transportation of crops, silage, peat etc.

Chieftain's knowledge and expertise in the commercial trailer sector has contributed to the fact that models are fitted with 10 stud high speed commercial axles on parabolic suspension AS STANDARD.
This gives braking efficiencies of over 50% (similar to that of commercial road trailers) and speeds up to 100km/h. This also reduces the brake wear on your towing tractor and saves the operator money on replacement parts for both the tractor and trailer.

The trailers are also built on a heavy duty chassis and a hydraulic tail door with grain chute, sprung drawbar (which considerably diminishes impact loads and assist driver comfort), grain window come as standard.
